Staff Morale and the 5th of July

Considering the current climate on campus, and the effect that has on staff morale, it's hard to understand why staff is required to work on the 5th of July. A Helping Hand

Right now times are tough and there are many people who are struggling. I would like to see a fund set up where faculty, staff, and students could voluntarily contribute money to help each other. Then, if anyone becomes aware of someone that needs help they can alert the ones in charge of the fund (maybe SAC) and get the person the help they need.
